- Dromore Doctors Surgery is not equipped to deal with walk in emergencies, if you feel you have a medical emergency then please contact one of the following : Lagan Valley Hospital 02892604643, Craigavon or Daisy Hill Emergency Departments or South Tyrone Hospital Minor Injuries Unit 03001233111. During all other times, please only come to the emergency department with serious, acute symptoms. If you are seriously ill, phone 99 for an ambulance as normal.
- It is now a legal requirement to wear a face mask indoors within the public setting unless you are exempt. Please do not contact the surgery to request a letter to state to you are exempt as we are unable to facilitate this.

- Information for patients ☎️ If you require a ring back from a Doctor or Pharmacists please ring daily from 8.30am, these lists fill up quickly so advisable to ring early, if a GP needs to see you in the surgery they will give you instructions on what to do. During the lunctime period we do operate an emergency line, please only use this method if you have a medical emergency. ☎️ If you need to order a prescription, we ask that you phone it through and press option 2. We will not accept any other requests via this method. Please do not ring and speak to a receptionist to order your prescription as our lines are extremely busy. You can also post your request through our letterbox or via royal mail. ☎️ If you require any type of results please leave your call until late morning or afternoon, this will hopefully help to free up the phone lines first thing in the mornings. ☎️ If you require a nurses appointment for any reason again we ask you to ring late morning or afternoon to book in. 😷 Please wear a face mask if you are coming to the surgery. If you have an appointment made, use the buzzer at the door to advise reception that you are waiting, then you can wait in your car until called or at the surgery door. 😷 Please do not come to the surgery if you have ANY covid symptoms, you will be asked at the door before you are allowed into the surgery. This is to protect our staff and patients, we appreciate your cooperation with this. 📝 All prescriptions are to be collected at either Johnstons or Sterlings chemist and not at the surgery. If you require your prescription to be posted to your home address or another chemist please send in stamped addressed envelopes. The chemists in dromore collect prescriptions twice daily, once before lunch and then again before 5pm.
- Dromore Doctors Surgery Flu Clinic Info • This year’s clinic will be by invitation only – all eligible patients will have or will receive a letter inviting them to attend. •Clinics will run from 9th October 2020 until 23rd October 2020. • The categories are as follows: * Those shielding * At risk over 65 * Over 6 and under 65 – with qualifying chronic conditions • Please only attend if you have received a letter inviting you. • Please bring this letter with you on your allocated day – otherwise we cannot give the injection. • Please only attend at your allocated timeslot. • Please adhere to social distancing rules and we ask that everyone wears a face mask – if you are exempt from wearing a facemask please make this known to a member of staff on the day.
- Please Note: The surgery is working on an emergency only basis on Friday 9th October 2020, due to our Flu Clinic running at another venue. If you require urgent medical assistance please call the surgery and speak to reception and you will be advised on what to do. - Sheilding UpdateThe Department Of Health have advised, from 6th July 2020 people who were following shielding advice will now be able to meet up to six people outside of their home, as long as social distancing is strictly observed.
